Sue Clarahan, RD, LD, has been blending her passion for nutrition with a practical and sensible approach when educating clients since 1981.

Sue believes in meeting people where they are at in their competent eating journey. She uses curiosity and kindness to guide people along. In her personal life, Sue enjoys her family, hiking, and connecting with friends near and far.

Sue is committed to help client enjoy the rewards of a positive relationship between food and their body. She is a practitioner who recognizes that health and well-being are multi-dimensional and not based on a persons weight. Sue graduated from Iowa State University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition and her experience includes counseling clients with a variety of medical diagnosis in the home, hospital, clinical, and office settings. In 2007, Sue was honored to be the Iowa Recognized Dietitian of the Year. In 2016 she was the Founders Volunteer of the Year for Eating Disorder Coalition of Iowa (EDCI).

Sue is a sought after presenter on a variety of nutritional subjects. She has been published in a national magazine and was a contributing author to Live Longer, Live Healthier: The Secrets for Graceful Aging. She is a member of; Eating Disorder Coalition of Iowa, International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians, and International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.
